Kyle Burton

My name is Kyle Burton. I am in Kidney failure and need a donor to save my life.  I am currently on Peritoneal Dialysis which prolongs my life but that is just a bandaid.  To save my life we ask those who are willing to become a potential donor to log into ucsdlivingdonor.org and test.  We know that's not for everybody and for those who may not be comfortable with it we just ask that you share.

My family is the most important thing in the world to me.  I was born to be a dad and I can't wait to be a grandpa (In the far future of course).

However, for me to reach that future a Kidney transplant is necessary for me to be able to live out those dreams.  I refuse to give up I will fight to the end to stay here for my family.  My dream is to be that dad once more who can be anywhere and everywhere for my boys.  To be the husband I always want to be for my wife.  I won't bore you with the woes me but there are things about End Stage Renal Disease that prevent me from being that dad, that husband, that man with your help I can change that.

In addition to being a family man one of my loves is coaching youth baseball.  I love everything about coaching the sport from the sunshine to the smell of the actual baseball (I know that sounds weird but those who also love baseball will agree).  Something that I teach my kids is that you are never out of the fight.  Always pick yourself up and move on.  I want the kids and everyone to watch as I will never give up the fight.  But in life, you always need help along the way.  And that is what I'm hoping for from my family, my friends, and perhaps total strangers.  Please either test or share we appreciate any consideration.  Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
